Summer on Red Island (feature film script)

A group of teenagers volunteers to help the Army clean up marine litter on a remote military island in southern Norway but end up uncovering toxic secrets that dark forces will go far to keep hidden.

Teenage action adventure with a romantic twist.


(The poster is a mock-up. The movie has yet to be produced.)

Isak and his kite-riding friends are looking forward to sun, sand, and flirting when a group of girls invites them along for a beach cleanup on an island far out in the Oslofjord.


But when one of the boys falls into a mysterious bunker, and two of the girls discover a strange structure underwater, they can't resist the temptation to explore further.


The secrets they uncover are both deeper and more dangerous than they ever imagined. Now they must stay alive long enough to reveal what lurks in the depths — and who will stop them at any cost...

Based on the screenplay for "Summer on Red Island".

"The convict and the cucumber" is a short, funny, and wild play with rhyme and rhythm in Norwegian for kindergarten children. It's about a convict who would like to eat a cucumber but is outmaneuvered repeatedly before he finally has to realize that the victory is lost, and the cucumber runs away for a vacation in Spain(!)


Illustrated by Ane Tjugen Røynstrand and now available in Norwegian bookstores.

A married Spec Ops Veteran turned divorced doomsday prepper forces his sexy daughter to seduce the brightest computer science student on campus to gain access to his skillset. Then everything gets complicated, even before the world comes to an end.

The Intense Value of Toilet Paper (animated feature script)

Ten-year-old Oskar thinks his dad is overly strange and anxious. Above all, his job as a doctor seems very boring!

 

What Oskar doesn't know is that his father works as a doctor in the Armed Forces, and the reason he's so anxious is that every day he must fight dangers the rest of us don't even know exist, like lethal germs and poisons.

But when "Mr. Clean-X" threatens to give the world an influenza season they'll never forget, Oskar and his dad must work together to prevent the Snot-apocalypse.
 

This project is part of the Children's Film Festival's national mentorship program for originally-written Norwegian children's films, 2025–2026.
 

Manuscript status: first draft of the screenplay completed.

Orange the Rabbit (children's book series)

A series of Norwegian books for smaller children about Orange the Rabbit, Squirrel the Nutbouncer, Rabiatus the Fox, Elvis the Elk, and the many wild adventures with the animals in the forest where they live.

Status of the script: first draft of several books

Once in Capernaum (short)

"Once in Capernaum" is a short film script based on the parable in Matthew 18:21, about the servant whom himself was forgiven, but who would not forgive his own debtors.

Status of the cript: completed and used as a contribution in a manuscript competition
